A spooky skull, carved as the center as a happy flower serves as a memento of the interconnection of life and death. The image is entirely handmade, drawn, and carved on shina plywood.
The carving is mounted in a wooden frame stained a warm mahogany. There is a removable wooden stand to allow it to stand on a desk or mantle as well as a keyhole hanger to allow it to be placed on a wall. The back of the image is signed and dated and includes the name of the piece. As a carving, this is a one-of-a-kind piece of art. The image is approximately 3.5″ across in an 8″ wooden frame.
